About the Role: As the Service Manager for the 16+ service, you will oversee three interdisciplinary teams supporting children looked after and care leavers. Your role will involve developing and managing a new service to support young adults aged 16 to 25, enabling them to make independent decisions through guidance and support. You will champion high-quality, inclusive services responsive to the needs of young people and the community, ensuring the safeguarding of children and promoting corporate parenting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead mixed teams of social workers and personal advisors.
- Develop and manage a service supporting care leavers.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, responsive services.
- Address safeguarding needs and promote corporate parenting principles.
