A brand that speaks to thousands of students.
King' College London Students' Union (KCLSU) is one of the biggest and oldest Students' Unions and is responsible for students at King's College London, a Russell group and world-renowned University. We are a registered charity and a member-led organisation. The students' union operates across four London Campuses including Strand, Guys London Bridge, Waterloo, and Denmark Hill. We have a vast student membership to communicate with, and a range of services we provide including community engagement, advice and support, and commercial operations. Our commercial services are accessed by students, staff, alumni, and the public. These spaces include a shop, two cafés, a food hut, and two bars with food service.
This role will strongly contribute to developing KCLSU's brand across design, and ensuring strong awareness of KCLSU. We want students to be aware of the variety of services we have on offer, whilst ensuring students from a range of backgrounds engage with these services.
Our core brand will be up to date across each of our sites, our digital spaces, and our documentation.
Good relationships will be formed with colleagues across the organisation, to effectively work with our different areas. Our staff will become familiar with the KCLSU brand and feel empowered to utilise it.
Your imaginative thinking and creativity skills will be apparent through the work that has been done and we'll see a noticeable difference in students awareness of KCLSU, and their impression of our brand.
There may also be times when working on the brand development for projects where you'll need to work with students, so patience, listening, and again good communication is necessary. Your role helps us to collaborate with students.
At the time of recruiting we are currently doing brand research into one of our commercial venues to infom us how we shall rebrand in the summer months of 2024. Success in this role would see the project through.
