Position Overview:
Abubilla Music is seeking a practive, strategic and passionate Social Media Officer to join our team. As the Social Media Officer, you will lead and execute the label’s Social Media strategy. You will be responsible for curating and posting engaging content on our Instagram profile, showcasing our artists, releases, and events while embodying our brand identity and narrative. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a creative flair and a deep understanding of Social Media platforms to help grow the profile of an innovative young label.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop creative and compelling content for Abubilla Music’s Instagram profile, including images, videos, stories, and captions, that resonates with our audience and reflects our brand identity.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement a comprehensive Social Media strategy aimed at increasing brand awareness, driving engagement, and growing our follower base.
- Community Engagement: Foster meaningful interactions with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and engaging manner.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute Social Media campaigns and promotions to showcase our artists, releases, and events, ensuring maximum reach and impact.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyse key Social Media metrics, including follower growth, reach and engagement, to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Social Media marketing, and leverage insights to continuously optimize our content and strategy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal team to align Social Media efforts with overall marketing and promotional initiatives.
Skills and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree or other quailification completed or in progress in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Experience managing Social Media accounts for brands, preferably in the music or entertainment industry
- Strong creative and content creation across visuals and video, skills with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and compelling content
- Proficiency in Social Media management tools and analytics platforms
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for music and a deep understanding of the evolving digital landscape
