TQR Exeter are very excited to be working in partnership with a luxury hotel in Dawlish. We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead this brigade and to assist the Head Ched Chef.

As the Sous Chef you will be required to:
- Support the Head Chef
- Assist the Head Chef with menu planning, rota changes, staff training and stock control
- Consistently maintain their high standards of food service and provision to meet the expectations of owners and guests.
- Ensure that the methods of preparation and presentation comply with current recognised catering standards and those implemented by the Food & Beverage Manager and Head Chef
- Take operational control, including supervision of all kitchen staff as required by the Head Chef
- Help ensure that all members of staff adhere to both statutory regulations and NMA’s policies on food safety and health and safety within all catering areas
- Work with the Head Chef to ensure that effective induction, supervision and appraisals of catering staff are carried out and that training needs are identified and met.

- Have experience within a fresh food offering
- Hold a Level 2 Food Hygeine certificate.
