SalaryThe Cott Inn is situated in Dartington, just outside the mediaeval town of Totnes in the South Hams, the most beautiful part of the West Country. We are a very busy destination country inn, with an enviable reputation for great food using quality local produce, together with excellent standards of service. We produce all our food in house, so knowledge of ingredients is paramount.
We are looking for a strong Sous Chef to join our team. The successful applicant will have deep experience in a similar role and possess a real passion and flair for food. We do on average 180 covers per day out of season; this doubles during the season, so the ability to control a busy kitchen consistently is vital.
We are looking for someone with;
- Good leadership skills
- Knowledge of fresh ingredients
- COSHH knowledge
- HASSAP knowledge
- SFBB knowledge
- Consistency in creating company standard dishes
- Someone with drive and someone who thrives off a busy service!
A highly competitive live-in package is offered of £30K + p.a.
