Job Description
- Oversee the Accounting and Finance team in daily operations.
- Implement financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, when necessary.
- Coordinate the preparation of financial forecasts, and report variances.
- Present financial summaries and business insights to senior management.
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to support overall department goals and objectives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounting and Finance Analyst should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- Proven work experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas).
- Familiarity with finance databases.
- Corporate tax knowledge would be an advantage
- Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Possess an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
