You need a willingness to work to QCF Level 2 in Social Care.
You will be responsible for supporting vulnerable adults across the borough of Doncaster. You will assist them to live in a safe environment whilst promoting choice and independence as specified by an assessed support plan. This is achieved through a short term re-ablement programme.
Core responsibilities and duties will include:
To provide personal and practical support enabling vulnerable adults to remain in their own home and access the local community.
To complete basic movement and handling risk assessments and initial visits for individuals starting with the service.
To have an awareness of and follow support plans, risk assessments, moving and handling assessments supporting vulnerable adults to achieve their goals and outcomes.
To support individuals at times when they need it, safeguarding them by reporting concerns of risk or if their condition or situation alters.
All duties and responsibilities must be undertaken to meet regulations and standards as set out in the Care Quality Commission standards and Care Act – striving for excellence at all times.
You will need a full Driving Licence and transport to be able to travel throughout the borough.
