We are seeking a Strategist on behalf of a leading agency in London
Main responsibilities
Brand Strategy (working with Strategy Director and Client Services)
- Research into various markets and categories to uncover and develop insights to inspire the creative process
- Analyse branding, packaging and communication for client brands
- Develop succinct creative briefs that will inspire the design team
New Business and business development (Working with Client Services and New Business department)
- Research into various markets and categories to uncover and develop insights
- Conduct competitor analysis for new and existing clients as well as identify existing and emerging design trends in the category
- Provide tailored content for new business/business development presentations
- Create and present thought pieces for business development and new business
Marketing (Working with Marketing Director)
- Produce content for articles and features in the main Marketing publications
- Contact journalists to publish this content
- Work with client services team and Marketing Director to PR new launches
- Produce content for webinars
- Create content for newsletters and organise for their production and coding
- Creating captivating content for Linkedin and Instagram, including writing articles, posts and thought pieces
Desired skills
- Understanding of trends shaping consumer behaviour
- Passionate about understanding and analysing why and how consumers behave
- 3-5 years brand strategy/brand planning experience
- Naturally inquisitive and a creative thinker
- A proactive team player who enjoys collaborating with others whilst also capable of working independently when required
- Great written and verbal skills
- Experience working on FMCG brands
- Strong visual communication skills
- Powerpoint expert
