Supplier Contracting ParalegalRemote with occasional travel to Serco officesFull Time, Permanent Salary: £35,000 per annum full time

Our core capabilities include service design and advisory, resourcing, complex programme management, systems integration, case management, engineering and, asset and facilities management.
We are looking for a Supplier Contracting Paralegal to join our Legal department who will support operational, procurement and other shared-service colleagues to put in place suitable contracts with suppliers.
As part of this you’ll:
- Gather key facts about proposed contracts so the context of the proposal can be understood
- Identify key risks in 3rd party contract terms, based on guidance documents
- Recommend suitable standard contract terms, based on a set of templates and rules
- Assign support requests to team members and external legal providers based on defined risk/complexity rules
- Support colleagues with the use of self-help guidance and toolkits.
What you’ll need to do the role:
- Interpretation
- reading and understanding goods and services contracts
- Drafting
- making changes to contracts, based on a legal playbook
- Knowledge of the public sector outsourcing market
- This role would be suitable for graduates or similar who are looking to get into this line of work
- Qualifications relevant to the role are desirable but not essential.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a relevant sector is desirable
