Job Description
- Manage and optimise the entire Supply Chain process, from planning to distribution.
- Develop planning strategies to ensure cost-effective Supply Chain strategies
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement sustainable Supply Chain practices.
- Monitor Supply Chain performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with FMCG industry regulations.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstock and running out-of-stock.
- Manage a small team and develop better internal capability across the Supply Chain
The Successful Applicant
A successful Supply Chain Manager should have:
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in procurement and Supply Chain management in the FMCG industry, ideally within Food Manufacturing
- Strong planning skills and the ability to manage relationships internally and externally.
- An understanding of Supply Chain management software.
- The ability to develop and implement sustainable Supply Chain practices.
- Proven track record in training and developing a team
