The Serco Talent Acquisition team are responsible for hiring people who deliver essential public services. In an exciting new venture for our prestigious Citizen Services business, Serco are partnering with the DWP to deliver Functional Health Assessment Services contract
As a result, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA Onboarding Administrator to join our team and help shape a best in class in house recruitment service delivering high quality clinical hires. In this role you will provide a comprehensive administrative support service to the Functional Assessment Services contract primarily focussed on contract generation and onboarding activities for volume recruitment of clinicians.
As part of this you’ll:
Work with the FAS Campaign Lead and Talent Acquisition Specialist to monitor incoming applications and ensure all candidates are processed efficiently.
Monitor completion of online assessments and liaise with contract operations to ensure all assessments are scored within agreed timeframes and report outcomes to the TA team to manage feedback
Book candidates into interview slots and liaise with TA team regarding schedules
Raise contract requests for clinical hires verifying all right to work documents and sourcing additional documentation required for security and vetting checks
Administer the checks for medical registration verification and will escalate any issues and findings as appropriate
Liaise with the screening and vetting team on progress of security checks and monitor contract acceptances
Book candidates onto appropriate training courses, issue induction packs and act as candidate point of contact for all queries between contract offer and start date providing excellent customer service in all correspondence
Maintain and administrate Recruitment and Onboarding trackers, ensuring that the data is updated daily to ensure accurate reporting on progress and candidate pipeline numbers
Act as first point of contact for internal and external candidate/ customer calls for the Functional Assessment Services Contract
Own and Administer the Functional Assessment Services Contract Employee Referral scheme (ERS). This includes managing inbound queries relating to the FAS Referral Scheme, providing advice and guidance to hiring managers and employees on process, processing of ERS forms and system administration and monitoring and tracking of payments.
What you’ll need to do the role:
Previous experience in a customer focussed administrative role is essential
GCSE's in Maths and English grade A-C or equivalent is desirable but not essential
You should have excellent communication skills, be flexible and friendly, with a high level of self-motivation & initiative
Strong telephone etiquette and a proactive “can do” attitude
You should be able to manage time effectively in order to complete heavy workload and meet deadlines
Ability to problem solve and evaluate customers’ needs
Ability to work under pressure, whilst maintaining accuracy
Proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent attention to detail, prioritisation and organisational skills.
