Hours: 35.5 per week, term time plus 10 days
Starting salary: £21,118.24 (actual starting salary)

At Pivot we believe children deserve better. In our academies we teach and support children and young people from Key Stages 2 – 4 who have been excluded from school, for whom mainstream education is simply not working, or those with an EHCP who require a specialist placement. Every day our teams do incredible work, making a huge difference to some complex and challenging children, many of whom come to us with traumatic backgrounds.
We are currently seeking two enthusiastic and resilient Learning and Behaviour Mentors (Teaching Assistants). We are recruiting one post for our LINKS programme, which provides education for learners with Emotional School Based Avoidance (EBSA), and another post within our school provision, which supports learners within KS3 and 4.
Our Learning and Behaviour Mentors play a key role in addressing the barriers to learning for our young people, supporting in the classroom, this role enables our learners to achieve their full potential. Through innovative, creative and professional practice, you will be able to engage our young people and inspire them to learn new skills and develop their self-esteem.
We are looking for candidates who have experience of working with young people with complex needs, who can engage and inspire. The ideal candidates will have experience working with learners with ASC.
