We are looking for a caring and nurturing Teaching Assistant, to support our wonderful children in KS2.
Rosebank Primary School takes children from 2 to 11 years old. We are looking for a caring, patient Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with pupils in a primary setting.
The role involves assisting the teacher with developing learning and fostering a warm, nurturing environment where all children can excel. The candidate should also have strong Literacy and Numeracy skills in order to support our children reach high standards in the core subjects. This role includes 5 paid training days for professional development. There will also be opportunities for working as a cover supervisor for any candidates who may wish to further their careers in this way.
We are looking to appoint a conscientious, highly motivated person to join our hardworking team as we expand our staff team.
The successful candidate will:
• be kind and enjoy working with children
• understand how children learn
• be happy to work as part of a team
• have good written and oral communication and numeracy (minimum requirement GCSE English and Maths)
• be flexible and have the ability to use their initiative
• have high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
We are looking for the role to start in September 2024.
8:30pm – 3:30pm Monday to Friday each day plus one additional 30 minutes either before school or after school each week for preparation.
