The Governing Body of Strawberry Fields Primary School, Garforth, is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our staff team.
General Teaching Assistant – 32.5 hours. This is a temporary position, term time only, for one year in the first instance. Based, initially, in Foundation Stage.
We are looking for a Teaching assistant who:
· Wants to make a difference to our children.
· Has a knowledge of the foundation stage curriculum, or a desire and willingness to build knowledge of this.
· Can work effectively within a team around them.
· Is optimistic, enthusiastic, positive and forward-thinking.
· Has excellent communication skills and enjoys working collaboratively with parents and families.
· Always puts the child at the centre.
· Believes in inclusivity and equality for all children.
· Is committed to our school ethos of, ‘Learning together, building the future.’
