Job description

We are seeking to appoint highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication and organizational skills to a new mental health service in Bury. In collaboration with our health, social care & voluntary sector partners, Pennine Care are developing a new place based mental health service across health and social care that aligns with Primary Care services.
This is a very varied role and you will be required to work flexibly in order to meet the day to day demands of the service. You will need to deal with telephone enquiries efficiently and professionally, providing an appropriate and courteous response, as well as monitoring the team email in-box.
As an integral member of the team, you will be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide a full range of administrative support duties, including inputting and updating data on systems and patient records, maintaining diaries and meeting schedules attending meetings and minute taking. In addition, the successful candidate will be receive and signpost enquiries directly from people using or trying to access the service.

To undertake the comprehensive administration of all referrals and enquiries received into the Living Well team.
  • To ensure that all relevant referral information is recorded on the relevant information systems and maintain the security of the information
To collate all relevant available information to enable the effective management of referrals/enquiries received by the team.
To facilitate the day to day functioning of the team, including organizing and attending the Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT) daily and weekly huddles and actioning the outcomes of the huddles including minute taking where necessary
To be involved in the review of administrative processes within the Living Well team and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the service.
To carry out general clerical duties including information gathering, dealing with internal and external post, filing, scanning and photocopying documents. Deal with incoming postal and electronic mail as well as telephone enquiries and give advice wherever possible, using own initiative.
To order and maintain sufficient levels of stationery and supplies for the Team.
To deal with difficult telephone enquiries and give advice wherever possible, in a diplomatic and sensitive way, following these through with the appropriate member of staff, in a responsible and professional manner.
To work with and support the manager of the Team.
To work with and support the team in their day to day work.
To develop and maintain good working relationships with all partners in Living well system.
To undertake such other tasks that may be required from time to time by the professional staff within the Teams.
