Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm

About the Trust
GMMH head office is based at Prestwich, Manchester and it is easily accessible via both car and public transport. There is onsite parking and additional visitor car parking (fees will apply). It has an onsite restaurant where staff are eligible for a discount. There is also a café where drinks and light snacks are available.
What you’ll be responsible for:
· Provide first point of contact for written and telephone enquiries on behalf of the clinical team, using judgement to establish validity and priority of the contact.
· Deal with any patient enquiries using judgement and observing patient confidentiality at all times.
· Maintain and update patient’s records and filing systems, involving the use of the electronic database and the Trust Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Systems.
· Support secretaries ensuring effective office system is maintained, and support is offered where needed
· Check the patient’s status, follow up appointments etc have been booked when mentioned in correspondence / discharge correspondence using the EPR systems, ensuring demographic details are correct and amend where necessary.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Excellent diary management skills.
· Good knowledge and usage of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel.
· Customer service skills and experience
· Previous reception experience
· Previous NHS experience
· Previous administrative experience
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
