Job Title: Team Manager - Children in Care (Agency Position)

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Supervision:

  • Provide effective leadership and supervision to a team of social workers focusing on Children in Care.
  • Support and guide team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and positive outcomes For Children.

• Case Management and Oversight:

  • Oversee the management of complex cases, ensuring that children receive appropriate care and support.
  • Conduct regular case reviews, contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

• Collaboration and Partnership Working:

  • Foster effective collaboration within the team and with external agencies to ensure the best interests of children are met.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with partner organizations and professionals.

• Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Ensure that the team's practice adheres to relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of service delivery.

• Resource Management:

  • Effectively manage resources to optimize team performance and meet service demands.
  • Contribute to budget management and resource allocation within the team.

• Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs within the team and facilitate professional development opportunities.
  • Stay informed about changes in legislation and best practices, providing guidance to the team.

Requirements:

• Social Work qualification and HCPC registration.
• Proven experience in a managerial role within Children in Care services.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
