Team Manager - Family Safeguarding - Good Ofsted

Nonstop Care is working with a Good-Ofsted local authority that is looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their Assessment Team in the West Midlands.

The local authority's Good-Ofsted rating represents a benchmark for excellence in social work practice, creating a fulfilling environment for social workers as they deliver a high level of care and make a positive change within their community of service users.

As a Team Manager, this role will allow you to build effective relationships with your team and create a positive work environment, increasing job satisfaction for both you and social workers you work with.

Your Responsibilities:

• To manage the overall decision making, planning and delivery of services to service users and their families.
• To manage the service and a team of staff within the legislative and procedural framework of the City Council
• To manage the allocated budget of the service and team for which the Manager is responsible.
• To manage the development of strategic policy and procedures within the Departmental Business planning processes.
• To manage Children's Social Care within a Performance Management Framework that supports the priorities of the Service, Department and Council

Requirements:

• Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration (SWE)
• Have the ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users' safety and well-being
• Post-qualified experience across assessment and/or child protection
• Clear, Enhanced DBS
• Must drive and have access to own vehicle
