Technical Support Engineers/ IT Engineers Required - Various Roles
An opportunity for Technical Support Engineers who ideally have experience working with Microsoft Infrastructure, and/or Cisco / Fortinet Network technologies. You will be working with a growing business, who are looking to expand their support teams.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Support Engineer / IT Engineer who is keen to work with the latest technologies in a fast paced, challenging environment. Full training can be provided for the right candidates who have some knowledge/aptitude for IT, however a relevant degree / apprenticeship / work experience would be desirable.
Please note, this is a job that may require local travel to customer premises, and so a willingness to be customer facing is essential. You will be supported by a more senior engineer in the early stages of your employment to ensure you are comfortable and competant in your role.
About the role:
As an IT Engineer / Technical Support Engineer, you will troubleshoot a wide range of issues. These will include technologies such as: Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Desktops, Server OS, MS Office 365, Hardware: Printers, Monitors, etc, Networking: VoIP, Wifi, firewalls. In addition to this. You will be responsible for the following:
- Carrying out client installs and customer training
- Managing customer systems and investigating / responding to technical issues
- Installation, troubleshooting, configuration and support of a range of technologies
- Liaising with 3rd party suppliers
- Escalation of cases to senior engineers where required
About you:
You will ideally (not all essential) have some experience / knowledge working with:
- Windows Desktop and Server OS
- Microsoft Office 365
- Active Directory / MS Exchange
- Understanding of networks
- VoIP
- Firewalls
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
