SalaryWe are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Payable assistant to join an award-winning independent, co-educational college based in SE1.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Accounts Payable whilst also maintaining Purchase Ledger.
This role requires a valid Enhanced DBS certificate.
Full time office based | Based in SE1 | £16ph | 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) | 2 - 3 months

Duties of the role:
- Maintain Purchase Ledger in an accurate and timely manner
- Processing invoices / credit notes in Sun System
- Managed Group Mailbox Daily and respond to email queries received regarding invoices / credit notes
- Ensure all invoices are coded and have been authorised
- Check Bank Account Details for new Suppliers
- Liaise with various teams within the business ensure invoice discrepancies and issues are resolved
- Perform Supplier reconciliations monthly for review
- Maintain supplier records on Sun System
- Correspond with suppliers and respond to enquiries
- Develop a good working relationship with all stakeholders
- Any other duties required to fulfil the requirements of the position
