Job description

About The OM Group

The OM Group, a leader in the construction sector, has evolved from a health and safety consultancy into a multi-disciplinary consultancy and training powerhouse. Our journey is marked by a commitment to safety, quality, and innovation, as we strive to add substantial value to every construction project, from conception to completion.

At The OM Group, our mission extends to upskilling and empowering the construction sector through comprehensive training. We don't just build projects; we're invested in building the futures of professionals throughout the construction industry.

The Role – Training Administrator within the L&D Coordination Team

We are searching for a diligent Training Administrator to join our vibrant Learning and Development team, focusing on orchestrating all external L&D programmes for clients within the construction industry. This role is pivotal in managing the logistics and administration of our L&D operations, serving client organisations with excellence.

By becoming part of our team, you're not just uniting with a collective of driven and enthusiastic professionals but also assuming a key role in transforming the way training is delivered and perceived in the industry. It's an opportunity to leave a lasting mark, drive a culture of excellence and innovation, and contribute significantly to the evolution of the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme Administration: Manage the end-to-end administration of training programmes, from initial booking to final qualification issuance, ensuring a seamless process for all stakeholders.
  • Logistical Coordination: Arrange all logistical details for training sessions, including venue booking, equipment setup, and material preparation, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
  • Client and Delegate Support: Act as the first point of contact for client queries, providing exceptional service and support to both clients and delegates, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Assessment Coordination: Oversee the assessment process, co-ordinating with assessors and ensuring timely and accurate recording and reporting of delegate performance.
  • Database and Records Management: Maintain comprehensive records of training sessions, delegate progress, and qualification outcomes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Feedback Collection and Reporting: Collect and analyse feedback from clients and delegates to inform continuous improvement of training programmes. Prepare reports for management highlighting feedback outcomes and suggested improvements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, delegates, trainers, and assessors, ensuring open communication and collaborative problem-solving.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for an individual who is not only organised and proactive but also deeply passionate about learning and development. Experience in administration in an L&D environment is ideal, allowing you to showcase transferable L&D skills from any industry. While a background in the construction sector is advantageous, we are primarily interested in your ability to apply your organisational skills and administration expertise in a way that resonates across various contexts.

You should demonstrate:

  • Exceptional organisational and self-management abilities, capable of efficiently juggling numerous courses at once.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • A steadfast commitment to your own personal and professional development, coupled with a genuine desire to contribute to the advancement of the construction industry.

Why The OM Group?

  • You'll join a team of L&D professionals, dedicated to making a lasting impact on the construction sector.
  • Opportunity to work with a multitude of stakeholders from across the industry, reflecting our commitment to holistic and learner-centric solutions.
  • You’ll play an integral part in our continuous growth story, where your career development is equally as important as the growth of our company.

Our Commitment to You:

  • A competitive salary, recognising and rewarding your expertise and contributions.
  • Opportunities for professional development in an environment that values learning and growth.
  • A comprehensive benefits package including a generous holiday allowance, pension scheme and other perks.

Apply Now - Your Path to Making a Difference:

At The OM Group, we offer more than just a job; we offer a path to make a significant impact across the construction sector. Join us in our mission to redefine the construction sector.
