Hybrid working 2 days in the office each week in Northampton

This role is working alongside an established transport team, within a global IT organisation. Your primary responsibility will be to support with all the transport administration ensuring deliveries are in line with customer request. This is a fast-paced business, you must have Admin and Customer Service experience ideally within transport, but this is not essential. You must be a strong communicator and be good at building relationships.

The role,

• Coordinate the delivery and collection of orders, working with a 3rd party logistics company and external couriers,
• Monitor and track deliveries and collections updating the customer,
• Meet delivery deadlines and provide performance reports,
• Highlight positive and negative indicators to improve process and customer satisfaction,
• Process and resolve transport queries,
• Monitor and record cancelled orders and monitor stock levels,

Skills required,

• Previous admin and customer service experience essential,
• Transport knowledge or experience desirable,
• Must have great attention to detail and be a natural problem solver,
• Good analytical skills,
• Must be a strong communicator,
• Must be able to prioritise your workload and work to deadlines,
