We are looking to recruit a Transport Administrator/ Coordinator for our client based just outside of Northampton.
Our client is an Educational institution so you must be happy to undergo a DBS check.
The role:
Starting at 07:00 each day you will be responsible for the Coordination of school transport across various different partners such as bus and minibus companies. You will be the first port of call for any issues, so good communication skills and ability to solve problems is a must!
Once the morning transport is sorted, your role will then be working in a team dealing with the day to day transport department, this may include planning routes and timetables, liaising with transport operators to ensure their compliance, communicating with internal teams any delays, monitor student behaviour whilst in transit and ensure any issues are dealt with and other associated admin tasks to ensure the department runs smoothly.
The ideal candidate:
- Excellent communication skills and be able to deal with a variety of people in different roles.
- Problem solving skills, able to manage issues and come up with suitable solutions.
- The ability to work both alone and in a team. During the morning you will be the first port of call for any issues and will be the only person on site until the rest of the team arrives.
- Reliability is also key to this role - you will be the only person onsite from 07:00
Hours
Our client is offering some flexibility around hours and have the following shift patterns available
Either
Monday to Friday 07:00 - 15:30 - 37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday 07:00 - 14:30 - 32.5 hours per week
Salary will be dependant on the shifts above, 24,507 for 37.5 hours and this would be pro rata for the 32.5 hours
