Company Description Great Bear is a leading 3rd party UK logistics business providing nationwide dedicated and shared user warehousing and distribution solutions for international blue chip clients. We operate in over 7 million sq. ft. of warehousing and operate a large modern commercial vehicle fleet, coupled with an extensive added value service offering. Job Description Due to continued growth, our Desborough site are now recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join the friendly team on a full time permanent basis. Salary: £24,023 per annum. Working hours: Monday-Friday (8am-4pm). The purpose of a Transport Administrator is to provide administrative support and creation of accurate data, with the ability to work to deadlines and contributing to the overall success of the site. Key Duties of a Transport Administrator: Contribute to the success of the site by ensuring that all POD and Return processes are carried out in accordance with the site policy documents. Ensure all paperwork is returned for all customer deliveries despatched from site, and chase outstanding POD's. Liaising with staff at other depots and external contacts. Inputting Over, Short and Returns on the site returns spreadsheet. Completing returns to customers in a timely fashion. Supply the Warehouse team with any returns they should receive to allow stock to be put away. Investigate all returns queries. Checking all timesheets and ensuring all paperwork is correct. Enter information from driver run sheets on to Road Runner. Create emails to all agency providers with confirmation of previous weeks hours. Run daily and weekly reports/checks and report any issues to Transport Administration Supervisor. Qualifications Proven experience in an administrative role. Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail. Able to manage time effectively to achieve daily targets. Must be a team player that is capable of working on their own initiative. Excellent communication skills. Excellent Data entry speed and accuracy, with ability to work to tight deadlines. Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages. Have excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
