This is a two-year rotation internship to introduce you to a career in Novartis, starting in the Value & Access (V&A) function. The role is project-based, predominantly working with the various teams in the V&A Marketing Team and the Pipeline & Launch Excellence Team, with the flexibility to take projects from the Commercial Pricing Team. This would provide you with a broad experience to build proficiency within V&A.
Job Purpose
Based within the Value & Access marketing team, you will be supporting the V&A Lead, and Managers across V&A. You will actively develop the right strategy and omnichannel mix to meet brand and V&A objectives and customer needs in the specific disease area.
You will also support strategic and operational plans appropriate to the life cycle of the brand(s) to optimise return for Novartis. This is a great opportunity during an exciting time for the business and there can be opportunities for progression within the company.
Job Accountabilities
- Support with the preparation of contracts, working with Procurement and Legal as needed.
- Contract management support with regard to interactions with healthcare professionals, agencies and other third parties, including putting in place confidentiality agreements.
- Manage processes relating to disclosure of payments to HCPs etc
- DBE supporting
- Support tactical plans and implementation.
- Create and implement campaign development and launch plans.
- Measure KPIs impact and ROI of tactical plans and define projects.
- FUSE -Manage documents through the process and ensure compliance with relevant SOP process steps.
- Support material updates and development for the SAM / SIM team
- Ensure all activities meet compliance and legal requirements.
- Budget management of defined projects or ownership of brand budget management
- Monitoring business performance and the external environment with DBE to deliver corrective action as required.
- Raising purchase orders, managing Shopping Carts, carrying out goods receipting and financial reconciliations, moving finances and tracking spend plus engaging with budget holders.
- Vendor management in relation to quotes, POs, payments and cost efficient.

- Ideally, studied some relation to Marketing, Marketing Management, Business Management or Business Studies.
- Previous experience in pharmaceuticals preferred but not essential.

Please ensure that you are willing and able to live within commutable distance of the company site before applying. This placement is based in White City in London and whilst we support hybrid working, we would expect the Graduate to be in the office at a minimum 3 days per week.
