Warehouse & Logistics Manager

My busy client is currently looking for an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager for their outstanding manufacturing facility with immediate effect.

Ideal candidates will have experience of working within a similar role and strive for high standards.

The role will be responsible for managing their warehousing & stock areas.

DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Planning to ensure the warehouses meet distribution deadlines and operate efficiently.
• Adhering to health & safety standards and reporting procedures.
• Processing orders, including wholesale orders, web orders and internal manufacture orders.
• Presentations across various departments and to the board of directors as/when required.
• Completing timesheets.
• Ensuring products are stored correctly.
• Efficiently managing the dispatch and delivery of products.
• Staying up to date with staff training.
• Ensuring records are accurate.
• Completing team board information updates daily.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PERSON WHO:

• Can implement ideas and change to improve productivity.
• Wants to be trained in logistics and delivery to all worldwide countries.
• Can create systems for mapping returns and aid their customer service team.
• Wants to be a part of their supply chain management in charge of governing transportation efforts, import & export.

NESSASARY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong management & communication skills.
• Good organisational skills working to timely deadlines.
• Ability to work well across the business and within their supply chain.
• Understanding transportation limitations and regulations.
• The ability to plan and future proof.
• Attention to detail.
• A knowledge of logistic systems would be an advantage, but training will be given.

You will be working Monday-Friday and the position is permanent, paying around 39,000 per annum.
