Form of workAs Warehouse Shift Manager, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse floor, overseeing a team of 8-10. The warehouse facility covers 168,000 square feet with 3,500 SKU’s in stock. This is a hands-on management role reporting to the Assistant Supply Chain Manager.
Salary is £30 - 32k per annum, 20 days holiday plus pension. Working over two shifts 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm rotating weekly Monday to Friday.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
- Responsible for the Goods In / Put Away / Replenish / Pick / Dispatch / Sample Room operations
- Management of 15-18 Warehouse Operatives, split over two shifts
- Resource Planning and workflow spread to ensure the smooth running of the operation
- Using the ERP system
- Problem-solving and root-cause analysis for efficiency
- Raising process and operational improvements, helping to drive continuous improvements
- Reporting daily to senior management
