A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Senior Receptionist to join the Surrenne department team at The Emory.

Spearheaded by world-leading experts, Surrenne is a new paradigm of wellbeing, brought to you by Maybourne in Spring 2024.
The Maybourne is proud to introduce a new architectural landmark to London. The final project designed by the late Lord Richard Rogers, The Emory will be an exclusive, world-class hub of art and culture which marks the addition of a modern masterpiece to the group's global luxury estate. Situated on Knightsbridge and overlooking Hyde Park, The Emory will present 61 contemporary suites set over nine floors.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
As a Senior Receptionist you will provide excellent service and be present to welcome the guests in a friendly and efficient manner and to ensure the security of the Surrenne. You will be supervising the efficient operation of the Surrenne reception facilities and ensure the smooth running of the therapist schedules.
Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Assist members and guests when they enter Surrenne, including escorting guests to the changing areas and facilities. Explaining about the facilities and lockers and dealing with appointments and enquiries.
- Manage the diary and ensure bookings are scheduled in a way to maximise occupancy and ensure the treatments are fairly distributed amongst the therapists.
- Be fully versed with Book4time, Knowcross, Peoplevine. Be able to explain how to use Peoplevine app to any guests or members who have questions regarding this.
- Encourage and motivate all staff with whom you work. Run weekly reception meetings and feedback any issues to Spa manager.
- Ensure that the needs of guests and members are anticipated and met in a professional, friendly, proactive and time efficient manner.
- Contribute in maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA and Forbes standards at all times.
