Due to expansion, Parkway Volkswagen are looking to recruit a Wheel/Bodyshop Repair Technician for their new Bodyshop in Kettering.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a long established, family run, reputable Main Dealer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and repair damaged alloy wheels to a high standard.
- Operate specialised equipment and tools relevant to the refurbishment process.
- Prime and paint alloy wheels to achieve a factory finish.
- Full vehicle machine polishing
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Coordinate with the team and liaise with customers when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Continuously learn about new techniques and materials in the industry.
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in alloy wheel refurbishment or a similar field is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive painting and polishing processes.
- Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must have a proactive approach and a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver's license.
The successful candidate will be put through the qualification for the lathe with Diamond Turned Wheels
Working hours are 07.30 - 16.30 Monday to Friday.
