Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Account Manager to join our existing account management team in Cheshire, with a strong focus on project management. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing client relationships while also overseeing the successful delivery of a wide range of innovative projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to blend account management skills with project management expertise in a dynamic and creative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, objectives and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with creative teams to define project scope, objectives and deliverables
- Manage a wide range of projects including design, campaigns, events, digital and video production
- Have a strong knowledge of design, production, web and digital development and print processes
- Produce proposals, budget estimates and quotations using agency management software
- Create and manage project plans, timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Assign creative tasks to designers and suppliers and ensure deadlines and profit margins are maintained
- Liaise with finance team to ensure projects are billed correctly and project admin is maintained to a high standard
- Conduct regular project status meetings with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and exceed client expectations
- Work with external suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
Requirements:
- Two years or more working in a Creative Agency or marketing environment
- Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to present creative ideas and concepts with passion
- Creative and imaginative, with the flexibility to solve problems
- Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues
- Pro-active and self-motivated
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for creativity, innovation, and delivering exceptional design solutions
