Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Accounts and Advisory Manager to oversee and manage accounting services and Advisory projects, ensuring high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to client management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage accounting services and Advisory projects from planning through to completion
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS
- Provide strategic advisory services on financial and operational matters to clients
- Conduct financial analysis and identify opportunities for business improvement
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards
- Identify and resolve complex accounting and Advisory issues
- Prepare detailed accounting and Advisory reports and documentation
- Lead and mentor accounting and Advisory teams, providing training and support
- Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated service offerings
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting and Advisory methodologies
- Stay updated with changes in accounting, financial regulations, and Advisory standards
Skills and Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and Advisory roles
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero)
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and accounting standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Experience in client management and business development
