Job title: Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper

Salary: 25,000.00- 30,000.00 per year( Pro-rota).

Connect2Employment is recruiting an Accounts Assistant/ Bookkeeper to join our client based in Hemel Hampstead. Please see below for the roles and responsibilities our client is looking for in a candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts up to trial balance .
- Liaison with our Indian counterparts for preparation of accounts and tax returns.
- Bank Account' reconciliation for internal and client companies.
- Maintain accurate financial records by performing data entry.
- Working with clients UK and overseas.
- Preparation and filing of Vat returns.
- Preparation of self-assessment income and expenditure statements.
- Understanding of accounting principles.
- Understanding of basic tax.
- List is not exhaustive.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in Accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
- Strong comprehension of accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Desire to learn about. international business and cross-border activities.
