Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Canterbury, Kent. Your own transport is required due to the location of this business.
Salary: £26k - £28k DOE
Hours: 08:00 to 16:30 Monday-Thursday with a 30-minute break for lunch and earlier finish on Friday at 4pm
Your key responsibilities would be:
- All Sales ledger, raising invoices and allocating payments received.
- All Purchase ledger, entering supplier invoices and creating month end payments.
- Bank reconciliations.
- All General ledger reconciliations.
- Journal posting for monthly entries and adjustments.
- Completion and submission of month end reports.
- Completion of payroll information for submission to the payroll agent.
- VAT (UK and France)
- Assisting with the stock count entries.
- Assisting the General Manager in any other matters.
- Supporting with HR Administration.
- Inputting information on the new ERP system.
You'll be the ideal candidate for this role if you have the following:
- An AAT qualification Level 2 or 3
- Quickbooks or Sage experience
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel is required with the ability to analyse large volumes of data.
