Job Description
This role will focused on the reviewing (not producing) aspect of statutory accounting.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. You will be allocating accounting work to a team and reviewing before finalisation
- Monitor and analyse accounting data for annual financial reports or statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Provide recommendations to improve systems and financial performance.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations in line with FRS102(a) and FRS105 standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant Manager should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- Professional qualification such as AAT, ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) XERO, and accounting software.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
