Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with a reputable construction business who are looking to expand their friendly and proactive team. They are recruiting for a full-time and permanent General Accounts Clerk, paying a salary of £25,000 - £27,000 per annum.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of day-to-day accounting tasks to support the financial operations of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Supporting the Printing and entering invoices onto Sage
- Collecting and collating timesheets
- Preparing wages/monthly payroll
- Preparing bank deposits
- General ledger postings and statements
- Reconciling accounts in a timely manner
This is an ideal role for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
