Salary: £26,000 + hybrid working model + AAT study support - location Reading

Orka Financial is partnering with a progressive company who are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Assistant to join their growing finance team.

As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their financial processes. You will be responsible for managing Accounts Payable functions efficiently and accurately,

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process incoming invoices, matching them with purchase orders and receipts, and ensuring proper coding and authorisation.
• Staff expenses
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and discrepancies promptly and professionally.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Data Entry
• Answering call & queries from suppliers
• Maintain incoming emails from APinbox

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
• Strong customer service skills
• Confident with Microsoft Excel
