Accounts Payable Assistant

Summary
Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a well-known business in Bracknell.  The organisation is the UK’s leading provider for their field.

Our client is looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their friendly team in Bracknell on a permanent, part time basis.

The Role
You will be responsible for:

• Placing orders of non-capital items.
• Raising purchase orders.
• Matching invoices received to purchase orders and querying differences with relevant suppliers.
• Obtaining quotes from suppliers.
• Credit card reconciliation and allocation of spend.
• Supporting the wider Accounts Payable team with ad hoc projects.
• Supplier statement reconciliations.
• New Supplier set up.
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc projects.

• Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and decision-making skills
• Good communication skills and problem-solving skills as well as an eye for detail.
• Previous experience of working in an account’s role.
• Very good excel experience.
• Ability to prioritize workloads and multitask.
