Requirements:
- The successful role holder will complete transport administration as directed by the Management team and will report into the Transport Shift Manager. Working initially , Monday to Friday (if successful it will be and 5 over 6 normally 1 in 4 Saturdays worked) with a 07:30 / 08:00 start time.
- An understanding of issues around transport and fleet management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
- IT literate with a strong competency on Excel.
- Strong administration skills
Responsibilities:
As an Admin Assistant, Daily duties include but are not limited to:
- Accurate keying of van loading sheets,
- Ensuring that company vehicles are sufficiently maintained through defecting system
- Accurate administration around tachographs
- Answering incoming calls and resolving queries
- Logging all transport issues
- Keeping customers up to date on late running's and potential delivery failures
- Booking deliveries and providing alternative solutions to customers
- Resolving internal queries and supporting internal departments requests
