SalaryManpower Driving and Logistics are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our national clients. We have an existing vacancy for an Admin Assistant in Birkenhead.
The pay rate is £11.65 per hour with over time after 37.5 hours paid at £17.47 The role is PAYE including 28 days holiday per year.
The role will include taking calls from customers, placing orders on to the system and other general admin duties. Other duties will include preparing reports, checking drivers working hours and liaising with drivers and the planning team regarding customer orders. The ideal candidate will need to have a good telephone manner, experience completing general admin duties, be computer literate and have some customer service experience.
The role will also involve helping with stock counts in the yard so at times and heavy lifting will be required. You will also be checking vehicles in and out of the yard.
The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.30am - 16.30pm with some overtime required. Occasional Saturdays may be required in busy times and are paid at £17.47 per hour.
The role will initially run until April 2024 and will then be reviewed.
