An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an Admin Officer to support the smooth and efficient running of our school office.
It is not essential to have previous experience of working within a school office as we can provide all necessary training and support. Our priority is to get someone who is warm, positive, professional and reliable. A quick learner, with an eye for detail and fantastic organisational skills! Someone who would like to learn with us and develop professionally. ‘Growing together, learning for life’. Someone who recognises the importance of positive working relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
We are looking for someone who will:
- Provide a warm, friendly and professional welcome to all stakeholders
- Be well organised, have confident computing skills in order to produce complex correspondence and reports
- Manage administration across all aspects of the school, including our Nursery and extended provision
- Follow, develop and embed school processes and procedures
- Demonstrate clear understanding of safeguarding
- Be someone who leads by example and through the values of the school
- Has an ambition to support colleagues and their welfare
- Be prepared to go ‘the extra mile’
- Takes pride in what they do and maintain high standards
- Be prepared to undertake training for the role in order to comply with legislation
- Enjoys being part of a team and has a willingness to be flexible
Your duties will include:
- Lead administration and communications across all aspects of the school
- Manage medical information and processes
- Manage invoicing and other income streams across the school
- Understand and become involved in the recruitment processes
