What will you be doing?
- You will be a teamplayer eager to learn more about Insurance, ready to input into our various plans (such as through team meetings and informal conversations), to ensure the achievement of our goals
- As part of your day-to-day, you’ll be helping with regular data entry and data computation on Company systems and Excel Spreadsheets
- You’ll get to assist in the creation of broking, client and other types of documents, including, but not limited to:
- general typing, production of monthly market renewal placing contracts (MRCs) and Premium / Loss summary sheets.
- By being responsible for our records on Company systems, you will ensure we’re working at maximum efficiency – whether that be by handling our Document Systems or gathering and sharing information with the wider business
- You will also look after our archival processes, such as by filing and archiving information on behalf of the whole department (either paper-based or electronic data, we have plenty of both)
- Keeps informed of all regulatory and legal changes which impacts on the job role
- Ensures up to date records are maintained at all times on the Company systems
- Responds appropriately to urgent issues as they arise
What do we need from you?
- A keen eye for detail and process!
- The ability to produce and sort accurate data wherever it may be needed
- Strong IT skills and the ability to adapt to new tech systems
- No experience in an insurance role is crucial, but you must be willing to apply yourself and commit to learning the insurance industry.
- A strong drive and the confidence to ask questions or ask for help when needed.
- Adaptability to work both independently and as part of the team.
