Our leading client based in St Albans, Hertfordshire are looking for an Administration Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Once training has been completed, the role will be hybrid, with 3 days in the office per week.
This job would suit someone with some previous line management experience who can lead a small team of administrators.
This is a large retail business with sites across the entire UK. They have grown rapidly through acquisitions and organic growth over the last few years.
The successful individual will have excellent communication skills and be highly organised with the ability to manage simultaneous tasks. They will have proven administration experience, coupled with some line management exposure. A strong knowledge of MS Excel including pivot tables and V Look ups is required.
- Day to day management of a team of 4 administrators
- Deal with all pricing and product enquiries
- Provide effective and consistent support to our business partners
- Manage to POS ordering system and reporting
- Deputise for your line manager when needed
- Maintain and develop all aspects of administration related to regional operations teams
- Maintain the pricing database to ensure that price changes and new product lines are implemented in a timely manner
- Create weekly bulletins
- Management of all contract applications, enquiries, credit checks etc
- Maintain the ADT system
- Prompt answering of calls and meeting and greeting visitors
- Preparation of spreadsheets and reports
