Job description

We are supporting our client with their recruitment for an Administration Manager to work on a minimum 12-month Fixed term contract.
The role can be worked as a hybrid position, working approximately 2 - 3 days in the office, however, there will be a requirement to be based in the office more fully for the first couple of months.
Full time, Monday - Friday. Central Bristol location close to all transport links. Parking is not available.

Your main duties will include:
  • Line and people management of a team of approx. 12 team members, with a focus on ensuring consistently high standards of work
  • Training and supervising the team of administrators, performance coaching, delivering one to one meetings, support and development of team members
  • Being responsible for the workflow management and quality control for all business admin processes
  • Responsibility for the accuracy and maintenance of Management Information and other reporting. Working with Excel to an intermediate-advanced level.
  • Being aware of, and ensuring client SLAs and KPIs are met
  • Manage apprentices, providing ongoing support and coaching, and attending review meetings
  • Take responsibility for recruitment in the administration team
  • Draft and finalise billing schedules for departments fees, sending invoices and managing any debt on outstanding invoices
  • Deal with any billing queries carry out financial reconciliation projects

The Ideal Person
  • Previous line management experience as a team leader or similar and the ability to motivate self and other
  • Experience of managing apprentices would be beneficial
  • Experience within professional services is preferable, particularly insurance and claims, or an area that produces high volumes of work
  • Qualification or experience of working in business administration (desirable)
  • Customer focussed and target driven
  • Previous experience of working with a case management system (desirable)
  • Confident with Excel, able to use conditional formatting, data validation, pivot tables, charts, XLOOKUP (or VLOOKUP), basic formula
