The role Bristol Medical School is seeking to appoint a Deputy Student Administration Manager to manage the delivery of Student Administration services and support the quality of the student experience, working in a busy and friendly undergraduate administration team. What will you be doing? You will work in partnership with academic and other professional services staff and play a key role in supporting the administration of the undergraduate medical programme, deputising for the Medical Programme Education Manager as required. The post holder will work alongside two other Deputy Student Administration Managers (DSAM) and in addition to their core responsibilities around student support will act as the lead on Curriculum and Student Experience within the undergraduate medical MB ChB Programme. The role holder will take a lead role in the planning and running of events such as welcome week and graduation and will oversee organisation of central teaching activities for all five years of the MB ChB Programme. They will also have oversight of the efficient administration of the online learning environment including Blackboard. You will also be building networks with the other professional programmes within the Faculty, and with colleagues in the wider university, to share knowledge and best practice.
