The University of Bristol Business School is looking to recruit a Student Administration Manager, to oversee the education administration across the Accounting and Finance programmes within the school. This is an excellent time to join the School, as we are in the processes of expanding its programme offer and further developing student experience.

What will you be doing?
The successful candidate should possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as excellent organisational and communication skills. They will be working with a wide range of colleagues, (Professional Services Staff, Academic Staff, including Programme Directors, Education Directors and Central Services), alongside the students themselves, on a daily basis.
This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring students receive consistently high-quality administrative support during their studies. As part of the Student Administration leadership team, you will take an active role in developing and enhancing existing processes within the School and contributing to central process reviews, as well as line managing managers and leading the wider team. You should enjoy working within a team, demanding high standards of yourself and others with a willingness to interact with our students and academics in a confident and friendly manner.

We are looking for someone who is committed to the student experience with an ability to take initiative and be proactive and flexible in their approach to work. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet often-conflicting deadlines is a must. You will be willing and able to deal directly with students alongside offering guidance on more complex student issues.
You will already have some relevant experience and possess the drive and customer care skills to deliver a high-quality service to a range of stakeholders at all levels. Experience of working with a range of IT systems and software, is also strongly preferred. You will need to be an experienced manager as we are going through a period of review and change. You will need to poses the ability to advise junior managers on HR related policies and lead a large administration team through change, with a positive approach.
