Spire Manchester Hospital situated in the Heart of Didsbury is a brand new, £65m state-of-the-art healthcare facility offering you the opportunity to work across a wide variety of specialisms. You will be able to develop your skills in a modern and progressive environment.
As Paramedical Administrator, you will be responsible for providing an efficient bookings and administration service for patients, business partners and colleagues who use outpatient services including Radiology and Physiotherapy.
Working Hours: Shifts between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday to Friday. 1 out of 8 Saturday will be required.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring that effective administration and communication systems are in place to support the smooth running of all services, ensuring exemplary levels of customer service are provided to everyone
- Ensuring that the clinics run smoothly and are effectively prepared in advance of the patient’s appointment
- Managing general enquiries, finding solutions, escalating to your manager where necessary
- Answering calls dealing with requests in an efficient and courteous manner
- Scheduling and re-arrange appointments effectively
- To check patients in and out, explaining the practice procedures to all new patients
- Arranging any necessary follow up appointments for patients within the hospital or with other
healthcare professionals
Who we're looking for
- Educated to GCSE standard in English and Maths or demonstrate equivalent experience
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills
- High degree of accuracy and a methodical approach to workload
- Ability to deal with problems when they arise
- PC literate
- Previous relevant experience in an administrative support role is essential
- Ability to work in a multi-skilled environment
- Flexible and adaptable approach to tasks and duties
- Working independently or as part of a team, along with the ability to work to deadlines as required
