Assistant Accountant

Are you currently working as an Assistant Accountant within an accountancy practice but looking for more variety in your role, paired with excellent study support?
My client, based in Ipswich, is currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their friendly and busy accounts team, offering a salary of £24,000 - £28,000, depending on experience.
This Assistant Accountant role offers great variety, that includes:

• Preparation of year end accounts
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Supporting on audits and have the option to participate in audits and visit clients sites
• Corporate and personal tax returns
• P11D's and preparing client statements for Companies House
• VAT returns

Ideally, to be successful as an Assistant Accountant at this firm you will be:

• A minimum of AAT level 3 qualified (or studying L4 AAT/ACA/ACCA)
• Have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience within practice in a similar role
• Have a professional demeanour and meticulous attention to detail
