SalaryMorgan McKinley London are pleased to be supporting a growing business to recruit for a permanent Assistant Accountant. This role requires a hungry, ambitious candidate looking to advance in their career.
The role:
- Responsibility for Accounts Payable including Expenses and Credit Cards payments for the group business
- Responsible for Accounts Receivable including Billing and Credit Control duties to include cash flows
- Setting up Direct Debits and collections on a monthly basis
- Managing and controlling the reconciliation process of multiple Bank Accounts
- Controlling the reconciliation process of Intra-Company transactions
- Taking ownership of the Balance Sheet reconciliations including updating Fixed Assets
- Assisting with the monthly preparation of the Management Accounts including Accruals, Prepayments and Depreciation
- Ad-hoc internal and external reporting
- Assist with the annual Year-End Audit and Statutory Reporting process
- Resolving Finance queries and disputes
- Provide support to the Finance Business Partner when needed
The Person:
- AAT qualified or be part-qualified ACCA or CIMA
- Demonstrable experience within a similar position with a track record of progression both in finance experience and qualifications
- Work in a close-knit team working at pace while able to manage multiple tasks
- Enjoys ownership and accountability of their workload and seeks to support team members
- Preferred, experience with Xero, Found, Plan Day
