Job Overview:
As a School Attendance Officer, you will play a crucial role in promoting regular school attendance and ensuring compliance with attendance policies and regulations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to creating a safe and engaging learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
Attendance Monitoring:
- Implement and maintain effective attendance monitoring systems.
- Regularly review attendance records and identify patterns or trends affecting attendance.
Intervention and Support:
- Work closely with students, parents, and relevant external agencies to address attendance issues promptly.
- Provide support and guidance to families experiencing challenges that impact student attendance.
Data Management:
- Accurately record and update attendance data in the school's management system.
- Generate reports and analyze data to inform decision-making and intervention strategies.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with attendance regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with the school leadership team to implement and review attendance policies.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and external agencies regarding attendance matters.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to identify and address potential barriers to attendance.
Requirements:
Experience:
