Do you have relevant school front of house experience and are seeking an exciting new role in an incredible, outstanding rated Primary school based in Leyton. This close-knit, creative and vibrant community are seeking a personable character to join the front office team and maintain the high standards the school.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised and approachable, who displays excellent communication and administration skills. The role requires working at pace and the ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.
School Attendance Officer / Receptionist Key Responsibilities:
- Promote excellent attendance, reduce levels of absence, improve punctuality and work with students and families to promote high levels of attendance.
- Meeting and greeting visitors to the school and being the first point of contact for the community.
- Answering main switchboard, fielding and transferring calls.
- Co-ordinating meeting room bookings/school calendar.
- Experience in a school setting is beneficial.
- IT proficiency – SIMs experience preferred.
- Strong customer service – personable and can ‘do’ attitude, able to form strong relationships with all memberships of the school community!
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
